So impressed with their work! They made an additional $315 during Entrepreneurial Day on campus yesterday. Go team!!! Everyone is Worthy of Love!

Our 8th graders are deep into their SWIM projects. SWIM stands for Solutionary Work in Motion, a capstone project involving some form of community impact in society, health, or the environment. Fundraising is one aspect of the project and these students decided to create t-shirts to raise funds and awareness for youth facing housing and food insecurity.

Sublimation can work on a variety of substrates; light colored polyester t-shirts, ceramic mugs, tumblers, this waffle towel, and so much more.

Sublimation is the process of converting a solid into a gas without becoming a liquid first. Using heat as the catalyst here, these printed graphics are transferred from paper to substrate (in this case two different kinds of coasters) through sublimation. The original printed graphics are pictured above the coasters.
